This song was born from a interesting happening. I opened up my 12 String Ovation Guitar that I haven't picked up in over 15 years. It was always too heavy for me and difficult to play. I decided to sell it. But first I had to just play one more song. I tuned it up and I was smitten by how well it sounded. In fact much better than it ever did. I guess being made of wood it grew into itself. I decided to plug it into my Fishman Loud Box mini amp. That was it. I knew I couldn't part with this guitar. It was a gift from my husband about 25 years ago. He walked in the house with it as a surprise for my birthday...Today I realized I couldn't let go of such a special gift. I plugged the out of the loudbox into the in of the in of the Apogee Jam guitar interface. I plugged that into my iPad 4 and opened up Auria. I literally just played the guitar and hit recorded it. I took out three of my flutes; high Bm by High Spirits, Low Bm by Gray Fox and and Em by High Spirits. I started with the high Bm which actually comes in after the other two. I then added the low Bm and then the Em. I used an app called Final Touch for some mastering. I used PSP Convolution Reverb for the flutes and just the EQ in the FAB Q fx for the guitar. I then sent it to Audio share from Final Touch and up to Soundcloud. I air dropped it to my computer for BandCamp! Hope you like it.
